Loosening the Soil
Roots grip tight for stability
So does the body's tension
We simply loosen the soil, creating space
The rest unfolds naturally
Water
Touch is like water
Pausing at the boundary
Waiting to permeate
Letting defenses fade naturally
Accompanying the body through that narrowness again
About Me

I'm Chain.
A few years ago I began practising with my own body. At first I only wanted to use it a little better. Later I found the whole thing ran deeper than I'd expected.
Those years of practice slowly moved me away from "how do I fix this problem," toward understanding how a person's weight, breath, bones and movement shape one another.
I'm still practising — and I treat each session as time spent observing a body together.

Listening · Fine-tuning
Subtle Space's primary body practice Awakening bodily awareness and self-regulation
Breath
Singing bowls and drum, before the hands begin letting breath come back to the body
Acupressure
Through delicate, slow touch Listening to tension in body and belly letting breath and tension find their link
How long a session runs
For those with limited time who still want to settle slowly.
A complete experience.
So the heart, the breath, and the whole body have the chance to slowly unfold.
If the body needs longer on the day, the session can run on.
Space

Subtle Space is about a 10-minute walk from MRT Fuzhong Station.
An independent space partitioned from a residence, hidden within everyday life, yet maintaining complete privacy.
Please wear soft, comfortable clothing.
Apart from a few questions at the start, there won't be much talking here.
We leave the time to breathing, and to the body.
I live here with my partner and Yima, a small dog.
Yima is usually quite interested in people, and may occasionally make sounds or bring some of life's movements into the space.
If you are allergic to dogs or sensitive to sounds, please let me know in advance — you're welcome to check with me whether this space suits you.
